Jim Neitzel of Winter Park Florida! I grew up fishing saltwater for Striped Bass and Bluefish in my hometown of Marblehead, Massachusetts on the coast of New England. I also was lucky enough to have extended family living in northern Wisconsin and was able to spend every summer there as a boy fishing with my grandfather Reuben Nelson who was an expert angler. Walleyes, Northern Pike, Muskies, Smallmouth Bass, and Crappi were all part of my upbringing. This variety of fishing experience was put to good use when I moved to Florida to attend college and discovered the wealth of freshwater bass lakes that covered the interior of the state. I have turned from big bass fishing to competing on 2 Florida pro bass tours. The HT3 Budweiser American Tour is a one man, one boat, one day tour and the HT3 Waveworms Executive Tour is a one man, one boat, 2 day tour. The tours are held on the giants of Florida bass fishing, Okeechobee, Kissimmee, Toho, Istokpoga, Winter Haven, and the Harris Chain. with the Classic being held later this year in Guntersville, Alabama.I'm currently having a good season placing 12th in the overall points standings on the Waveworms Executive Tour and 15th on the Budweiser American Tour after 7 events with over 100 anglers competing. My biggest fish in competition ths year are a 6.56 pounder out of Toho and a 5.9 pounder at Winter Haven.Tournament fishing is the ultimate test because you can't pick your own day or the conditions you like to fish. You just have to adapt to whats there. Strict off limits and gag orders level the playing field further and no partner on these tours means its all up to you. Boudreaux's Baits have become part of my arsenal in every tournament I fish and their incredible spinner baits with the hare trailer have scored numerous fish for me this season and they just keep on going. Wish me luck in my upcoming tournaments and try some of Boudreaux's Baits great products for yourself. You'll appreciate the performance and durability of my favorite baits.
